چکیده
Cutaneous metastatic Crohn’s disease (MCD) is a rare but challenging dermatologic manifestation of disease. It histologically defined as the presence non-caseating granulomas at skin sites separated from and non-contiguous to gastrointestinal tract. should be distinguished much more frequent contiguous cutaneous manifestations that present perianal or, less common, peristomal with direct extension intestine adjacent skin. Versatile clinical presentation fact occurrence can predate initial diagnosis may lead misdiagnosis, delayed treatment underreporting. As case numbers are small randomized controlled studies on management lacking, therapeutic approach remains often unsatisfactory. We here performed systematic literature search identifying 264 published pediatric adult cases MCD additionally report three our own cases. Our review summarizes characteristics, putative etiopathology, histologic findings, differential diagnoses options for MCD.
